Water flows into the InvisiHead.
Super slow approach and entrance velocities insure low level
loss and minimum sediment
flowing into the intake basin onshore
The InvisiHead works as
an outfall. Heat and effluent dispersion and dilution
takes place at the immediate
vicinity of the InvisiHead.
Elmosa
is phasing in HDPE pipe and phasing out steel and concrete where applicable.
The NatSep is designed to
separate any sediment that may flow through into the basin as part of the
water flowing into the InvisiHead. By the time the flow reaches
the seawater pump bay it
is free of sand and weeds.
The InvisiHead receives
the water capacities through for consecutive phases: The approach where
the hydraulic invisibility takes place, the Stabilization self cleaning
is activated through the submarine currents, the Acceleration where smooth
transfer of flow takes place, and the Steady where the flow regime assumes
final conditions.

Elmosa Offshore Seawater
Intake System: A combination of environment, science, and technology. Low
initial investment, minimum operation and maintenance costs.
Elmosa Onshore Intake System,
the Infiltration. Water is filtered at the source. Self operation and maintaining.
Low initial investment and very low operation and maintenance costs if
any. The Infiltration is the ultimate in water intaking.
The following images demonstrate
our capabilities and ability to handle any seawater intake system or outfall.
